A New Name, the Same Heart (and a Fresh Chapter)
I wanted to take a moment to share a meaningful update with you—one that reflects both my personal life and my creative journey.
As many of you know, my art has always been deeply intertwined with who I am. Every brushstroke, every floral detail, every soft pastel palette has been a reflection of my season of life. Today, I’m excited (and a little emotional) to share that I’ll be moving forward under my marital name (Janelle Soler).
This change comes from a place of love and intention. Marriage has been such a grounding and joyful chapter for me, and choosing to create under my new name is my way of honoring that commitment while continuing to grow as both an artist and a woman. While the name may be new, my heart, values, and passion for creating beauty remain exactly the same.
Before anything else, I want to say thank you. Your support—through follows, messages, commissions, kind words, and encouragement—has meant more to me than I can ever fully express. You’ve supported me through every season so far, and I’m incredibly grateful to bring you along into this next one.
Along with my name change, I’m also thrilled to introduce an evolved brand identity—one that feels even more like home. I’ll always hold onto the pastel, bright, airy florals you know and love. They’re a signature part of my work and my joy. But moving forward, I’ll be weaving in deeper coastal inspirations drawn from my roots.
As a Cuban girl from Florida, the ocean has always lived in my bones. Soft coastal light, breezy textures, sun-washed tones, and that feeling of warmth you get near the water will now play a bigger role in my work. Think pastel florals seasoned by sea air—romantic, joyful, and rooted in heritage.
This rebrand isn’t about leaving anything behind—it’s about expanding, evolving, and inviting you further into my world. Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with me, for embracing this new chapter, and for celebrating growth alongside me.
