“Commission pieces are so fulfilling because they allow me to work directly with you to create a custom piece that has a story and is personal.
Upon commitment to the process, I will send you a Questionnaire. We will establish our inspiration such as colors, fabrics, and photos you provide. I will create a board that will serve as my guide to ‘paint your visual story.”
The Process
This process includes gathering inspiration from your space and previous works of mine to create a visual document incorporating the colors and compositions you have in mind for the artwork. Remember, no two pieces are alike, and you are receiving a one-of-a-kind Janelle Martinez-Cruz piece for your commission.
A few typical sizes options: 16 x 20”, 20 x 24”, 30 x 40”, 36 x 48” and larger. You also may request a different size.
Commission projects have a $500 minimum.
